Best Cafes in Melaka 2026: 14 Cafes With Hours and Addresses
2026-10-31 · Last updated 2026-10-31 · 6 min read
Melaka's cafes cluster in a few streets: Jalan Bunga Raya, the lanes around Jonker Street, and the newer rows at Kota Laksamana and Melaka Raya. This guide lists the 14 Melaka cafes in the JomYumcha directory that carry enough stored detail to plan a visit — a street address, the week's opening times, and at least one recorded property such as halal, WiFi or pet access.
Nothing below ranks taste. It is what the directory holds, in the order it recorded demand, so you can check hours before driving across town.

How this list was built
The source is the JomYumcha directory: 36 approved cafes inside Melaka on 31 October 2026. This list takes the 14 records carrying at least three stored facts (address, published hours, phone, Instagram handle, photo, or must-try item) and orders them by recorded views.
So every opening time below is the one stored for that cafe, summarised by day, and every tag — halal certified, pet friendly, late night — is a row the directory holds. Where a record publishes no hours for some days, the guide says so. Where two tags contradict (one listing carries both Muslim-friendly and non-halal), both are printed.
The directory stores no ratings, so none are printed here, and these records hold no dish prices, so no "must order" claims appear.
Jalan Bunga Raya and Kampung Jawa
Sin See Tai (新时代)
📍 18, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 daily, 8.30am–5.30pm
Sin See Tai keeps the simplest week here: 8.30am to 5.30pm daily, a breakfast-to-afternoon stop rather than an evening one. The record at number 18 carries a non-halal tag and a late-night tag; the hours say it shuts mid-afternoon, so treat the late-night tag as a property of the listing.
Chiruru Coffee
📍 42i, Jln. Bunga Raya, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 Mon–Tue and Fri 9.30am–5pm, Wed–Thu and Sat–Sun 8am–5pm
Chiruru is the halal-certified, air-conditioned option on Jalan Bunga Raya. Its week starts at 8am Wednesday to Sunday and 9.30am on Monday, Tuesday and Friday; both sessions end at 5pm, so an after-work visit is out.
The Lustrè
📍 42J, Jln. Bunga Raya, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 Tue–Sun 10.30am–6.30pm, closed Monday
Two doors up, The Lustrè runs 10.30am to 6.30pm six days a week and takes Monday off. It is tagged Muslim friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly, and it carries its own venue photo rather than an Instagram avatar.
Ban Kheng Cafe
📍 25, Jalan Bunga Raya, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 Mon–Tue 8am–1pm, Fri–Sun 8am–2pm, closed Wed–Thu
Ban Kheng is the old-fashioned rhythm on this street: mornings only, closing 1pm Monday and Tuesday and 2pm Friday to Sunday, with Wednesday and Thursday dark. It carries two recorded must-try items, toast and coffee, plus family-friendly and Muslim-friendly tags. For a kopitiam breakfast rather than a specialty bar, schedule this one first.
Arkib Raya
📍 87, Jln. Bunga Raya, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 daily, 8am–8pm
Arkib Raya has the longest session in this cluster — 8am to 8pm, seven days — and it is the record carrying both a Muslim-friendly tag and a non-halal tag. Both are stored, so both are printed; confirm with the cafe before ordering.
Jonker Street and Kota Laksamana
Luné Café
📍 No 16, Jalan PNN 1, Pusat Niaga Nakhoda, Kota Laksamana, 75200 Malacca · 🕐 closed Monday and Sunday, hours not published Tue–Sat
Luné is the most-viewed Melaka listing in the directory — 14 recorded views against 1–7 for the rest — and the only one whose stored description mentions matcha alongside coffee and meals. Hours are the weak part: Monday and Sunday are marked closed and no times are published for Tuesday to Saturday, so this guide will not guess them. The address is in Pusat Niaga Nakhoda off Kota Laksamana; tags are late night and outdoor seating.
Mods Cafe
📍 14, Jalan Tukang Emas, 75200 Melaka · 🕐 Mon and Wed–Sun 10am–6pm, closed Tuesday
Mods sits on Jalan Tukang Emas, the lane past the Jonker Street temples, and runs 10am to 6pm Monday and Wednesday to Sunday, with Tuesday off. It is tagged Muslim friendly and wheelchair accessible — rare in the heritage core.
coffeebar125+
📍 89, Jalan Hang Kasturi, 75200 Melaka · 🕐 Mon–Tue and Thu–Sun 8.30am–4pm, closed Wednesday
A short session, 8.30am to 4pm, Wednesday off, on Jalan Hang Kasturi. The tags that matter are pet friendly and outdoor seating: one of two Melaka listings that welcome a dog, with the seating outside rather than in an air-conditioned room.
Kopi Harian
📍 61, Jalan Hang Jebat, 75200 Melaka · 🕐 daily, 9am–5.30pm
Kopi Harian is on Jalan Hang Jebat, a street over from Jonker, open daily 9am to 5.30pm, tagged pet friendly and live music — the only Melaka record holding both.
Nice Boy Coffee
📍 25, Jalan Jawa, Kampung Jawa, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 Tue–Sun 12pm–8pm, closed Monday
Nice Boy Coffee runs the latest shift in the heritage core: noon to 8pm, Tuesday to Sunday, tagged quiet and study friendly plus live music — an unusual pair, a room marked for focused work that also books music.
D'CURE GELATO
📍 63, Jalan Kampung Pantai, 75200 Melaka · 🕐 Mon and Wed–Sun 11.30am–7.30pm, closed Tuesday
Gelato rather than coffee, on Jalan Kampung Pantai, open 11.30am to 7.30pm Monday and Wednesday to Sunday, with outdoor seating and a non-halal tag.
Melaka Raya and Bukit Baru
WA Coffee & Roastery
📍 640, Jalan Melaka Raya 10, Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka · 🕐 Mon–Fri 8.30am–6pm, Sat 8.30am–5.30pm, closed Sunday
WA is the roastery here, out in Taman Melaka Raya, keeping office hours: 8.30am to 6pm on weekdays, half an hour earlier on Saturday, closed Sunday. Recorded tags are parking available and Muslim friendly, and it holds real venue photos rather than an avatar.
19 Coffee Roastery
📍 4626-C, Jalan Datuk Penghulu Abbas, Bukit Baru, 75150 Melaka · 🕐 daily, 10am–6pm
19 Coffee Roastery is out in Bukit Baru, a drive from the heritage core, opening 10am to 6pm daily. It is halal certified and holds three photos, two of them venue shots.
Locahouz
📍 8, Jalan Bukit Cina, Kampung Bukit China, 75100 Melaka · 🕐 Mon and Wed–Sun 10am–6pm, closed Tuesday
Locahouz is the one to pick to work: the only listing on this page tagged WiFi available, and it also carries a live-music tag. Hours are 10am to 6pm, Tuesday closed, on Jalan Bukit Cina at the foot of the hill.
Before you go
Three things this guide will not tell you, because the directory does not hold them: how busy a room gets, whether the coffee is good, and what a dish costs — the Melaka records carry no prices.
Two practical notes. The heritage-core cafes cluster tightly enough that Bunga Raya, Hang Kasturi, Hang Jebat and Tukang Emas walk in one loop — check closed days first, because Monday and Tuesday are the common dark days. And several listings publish hours for some days only; if a cafe matters, call the number on its page before setting out.
